People become a member of The Cake Decorators’ Guild of NSW Inc. (known as CDG) for a variety of reasons. But the bottom line is that we want to learn new skills, improve existing ones or share the knowledge that has been learnt over time, this can be done by attending branch meetings.
At these meetings you will watch demonstrations by members from either your own branch or one of our other branches, Or it may be a workshop where you are hands-on under the guidance of the guest demonstrator. You could be learning piping techniques or creating a cute cake topper. Maybe learn to create a realistic flower or how to cover a cake to get that professional finish. There is always lots to learn or improve on.

We have a network of cake decorators that volunteer their time and expertise by demonstrating at branches,
State Roster Days (SRD’d are annual Cake Decorating days run by each branch) and our Bi-annual State Seminar / Challenge weekend.
